CONSIDERING ACUPUNCTURE?

TREATMENT
Expect your first visit to last 1 1/2 -2 hours. Treatment will include an initial interview and taking of health history, a physical exam, a traditional Chinese medical diagnosis, and the initial acupuncture treatment. The treatment can last from 20 minutes to an hour, depending upon the comfort of the patient and the nature of the concerns. For the written health history we ask for an overview of most pertinent areas of lifestyle, body functions, sleep habits, stress, work habits, and dietary and exercise regime. The physical exam may include examination of the tongue, skin, eyes, ears, urine, abdominal palpation and pulse. The treatment will include acupuncture, or magnets if needles are not desirable for any reason, and use of any other techniques appropriate to the diagnosis.

EXPERIENCE
Martha Benedict has been practicing Acupuncture for decades, ever since it was made legal to do so by the State of California. She was granted licence #150.

FEES
Fees are $145 for the first consultation and treatment, $80 for subsequent sessions. Cost of any reccomended herbal products is additional. Any costs incurred are due at time of treatment. We do not bill insurance, however, we can provide insurance superbills if a patient is covered in their policy and wants to file for reimbursement.

Fee for a facial acupuncture treatment is $145.
